What Do You Look Like Before Your First Cup of Coffee?
This design is actually an afterthought, as it is part of a larger pattern I made. But it may make for better social media, if indeed there is such a thing. (As an aside, I can’t tell you how much I dislike typing on this device ie—phone. Much easier for me to type on a keyboard. Nevertheless….) You know sloths are evidence that God has a sense of humor. Better yet, animals are proof of His sense of humor. But, above that, that fact that humans laugh is evidence of His divine funny bone. But I spent some time (not excessive) tweaking this guy because (I reasoned) “there was more ‘funny’ in him”. So I tried to wring out as much ‘funny’ as I possibly could before abandoning him. The second point is the lettering, based upon ‘Christmas Pudding’ font (one of my faves). But I write it by hand (kind of) because I like the ‘realistic’ results of a human hand. However, my fountain pen started putting out more ink than I wanted (out of no fault of my own obviously), and the results were (as they say) a little too realistic. So I did some major surgery in Illustrator, and it ends up looking (perhaps) a little too clean, and maybe I should have saved my time and just typed it out. 🤷♂️ Well I need to get my coffee; I think I have only had two cups thus far.
