Tips and Tricks for Avoiding Printer Jams when Making Stickers
Most of the time we blame our printer when our printable vinyl jams, but the culprit may not be our printer, but rather the vinyl we are using. For best results, I recommend feeding each sheet individually into the rear paper slot on your printer and not using the paper tray. Also, never remove your vinyl from its packaging until you are ready to use it. It may seem like an insignificant detail, but factors such as temperature and humidity can greatly affect your vinyl. Most of the vinyl you see for purchase on sites like Amazon are no more that 4 mils thick and curl quite easily. And any slight deviation in the print medium is likely to cause a printer jam or feed malfunction. Please like and subscribe for more sticker making fun!
